Mission 5 (continued):

Diving Competition. The team that dives the most cumulative height wins.

Episode 3 opens with a quick summary of the first 4 jumps:

HaHa: 3.5m [in previous episode]

Joong Ki: 5m

Ji Hyo: 5m

Hara: 5m

Gary is the next to challenge and approaches the diving boards with his trademark peaceful expression. He wordlessly climbs up to the 5m board and judges the distance. At the edge of the board, he suddenly breaks into song then jumps with a shout.

Suk Jin wants to jump 5m to help his team succeed. He climbs to the 7.5m baord and glances down. A moment later, he makes his way back down, completely passing the 5m board on his way to 3.5m. As Jong Kook harasses him into jumping from 5m, Suk Jin simply says "Sorry" and ties the teams as he jumps from 3.5m.

Jae Suk follows and climbs to the 5m board. He looks down and freezes in fear. Gary and Ji Hyo shout at him to jump from 7.5 and he almost collapses, shouting "I can't do it!" Gary tells Jae Suk that Jong Kook is laughing at him and Jae Suk climbs up to the 7.5m board. Jong Kook shouts to him that that's not his style. On the edge of the board, Jae Suk clenches his fists and steps back, then approaches the board's edge again. Gary starts a countdown and, with the support, Jae Suk makes the leap from 7.5m to the cheering of his teammates.

Chun Hee goes next and climbs up to the 10m board. Kwang Soo tells him that if Chun Hee jumps from that height, he's giving up. Chun Hee climbs down to the 7.5m board to look and tests the height by dropping his hat. He tells Jong Kook he can't jump from 10m and leaps from 7.5m.

Kwang Soo is the last challenger for the Away Team and the teams are tied. He nervously climbs to the 7.5m board and Jong Kook immediately starts a verbal attack to talk him down. Looking pitiful on the 7.5m board, Kwang Soo tells his team, "My bones are brittle." He retreats, but instead of climbing down, he climbs up to the 10m board. He looks down and without a word turns away to climbs back down to 7.5m. Stalling, Kwang Soo stands blankly and nervously scratches his head and drops his hat to time its fall. As Jae Suk assures him that 5m is ok, Kwang Soo turns and looks blankly back up at the 10m board; it is close enough in height that he can reach up to it from the 7.5m board. He looks back down at the water, then up at the 10m board again as even Jae Suk encourages him to go down to a lower height. A jump from 10m would mean his team could not be beaten, only tied. A tense soundtrack plays every time he looks down, while a heavenly chorus plays every time he looks up at the 10m board. After a mental breakdown, Kwang Soo says, "Before that, I want to say--" and is cut off by Jae Suk and HaHa. With a sad face, he waits for a countdown and wordlessly jumps from 7.5m. Joong Ki pulls him out, proudly stating, "My friend, Kwang Soo!" and gives him a hug.

Jong Kook's only winning play is to jump from the 10m board. He climbs the steps with determination and steps out onto the 10m board. After inching to the edge and looking at the jump distance, he steps back and gathers courage. Without much ado, he walks to the edge and cooly steps off of the 10m board as everyone below screams for him. Kwang Soo sadly eyes the 10m board that he abandoned as the Home Team wins the challenge by 2.5 meters.

Mission 6:

Use the hint to find the location Golden Piggy Banks in the stadium.

After 12 hours of filming, the teams are sent on another search mission. The teams get a clue to find the banks underneath a place written by citizen Lee Kwang Soo. Joong Ki tells his team that each seat in the stadium has the name of a Suwon resident written on it. Both teams understand the hind and start the search. There are 5 seats among the 44,000 totals seats in the stadium with Lee Kwang Soo written on it.

HaHa finds the first piggy bank. Only after HaHa's success does Jong Kook tell Jae Suk not simply scan the rows for the banks instead of searching for names.

Joong Ki finds the second piggy bank and Ji Hyo quickly finds the third.

After a lot of running around, Jae Suk and Kwang Soo make their way to an upper level on the north side. As they run, heavy panting from Jae Suk's VJ is audible and Jae Suk turns to point and laugh at him. Inside the stadium, Jae Suk sits and pants. Trailing behind him is his panting VJ.

Chun Hee finds the fourth bank not far from where Jae Suk is sitting and resting. The video cuts to Jae Suk's VJ panting and climbing the steps towards Jae Suk and Jae Suk's question, "Why are you here so late?"

Chun Hee and Kwang Soo spot the last piggy bank at the same time. Kwang Soo is much farther away but Chun Hee has to climb steps. Kwang Soo makes a mad dash and beats Chun Hee to the last bank. The mission ends with 3 golden pigs for the Away Team and 2 for the Home Team.

Outside and unaware of the mission end, Jae Suk is running and telling his VJ it's good to exercise. Kwon Ryeol finally gets the message that the mission is over and desperately calls out to Jae Suk that they found it. Jae Suk stops and asks Kwon Ryeol why he's more happy about it than Jae Suk himself. He laughs and chatters at the camera while Kwon Ryeol pants and catches his breath.

Detour [BTS/Goofing off/Distractions edited into the episode]

The cast gathers after the challenge and Jae Suk comments on the VJ's lack of stamina. Others chime in laughingly. Jong Kook calls out his VJ for standing at the bottom of the stairs he was climbing and getting a long shot of him. Suk Jin laughs that his voice will be drowned out by the panting of his VJ.

As the cast breaks in preparation for the next challenge, Jae Suk walks over and continues to nag his sitting VJ, asking if he goes to the gym. "Hyung will bring you to the gym." Kwon Ryeol simply laughs as Jong Kook joins in with "It's good to train your body."

Jae Suk then grabs Kwon Ryeol's camera to check his shots. Staff and cast gather to watch and laugh as Jae Suk admonishes his VJ for filming irrelevant things. He scolds Kwon Ryeol for panning his camera and following Kwang Soo as they passed each other. The captions on the replay of the scene says "VJ got tired after running after Jae Suk so he stopped...and casually filmed Kwang Soo instead!" XD

They scrub further into the video and Kwon Ryeol had paused to film Hun Chee. Jae Suk continues to chatter and nag about his increasing lack of footage while Kwon Ryeol can only cover his face and laugh. Everyone laughs as they replay the shot where Kwon Ryeol breathlessly tells Jae Suk that the mission is over. Jae Suk finishes by telling Kwon Ryeol that he'll take him to the health club and that they should work hard together.

Mission 7:

Telepathy. Telepathy Studio: One broadcaster asks questions from a question sheet while the responding broadcaster selects a random answer from the answer sheet as their reply. Neither announcer can hear what the other is saying. A correct Q&A match scores a point.

It is 3:30 am as the cast gathers to play the mission.

Jae Suk (Q) and Kwang Soo (A):

JS: What were Napoleon's famous words?

KS: Lend me 4,000 Won!

JS: Do you remember Nan Da Kim's catchphrase from a comedy show?

KS: In the name of justice, I cannot forgive you!

KS: I'm still hungry.

Mission 8:

Hanging Goalie Game. A player must hang from the goal post and use their body to deflect the balls from the opposite team.

Joong Ki immediately comments on HaHa's inability to defend with his short stature and HaHa asks why his height is always a topic. Jong Kook says, "Then I'll talk about girlfriends" and HaHa retaliates with, "Hyung, you never had a girlfriend before? I also know a lot." As some bickering continues between the two, Jae Suk catches Suk Jin whispering to Hara, "Who is Jong Kook's girlfriend?" and she replies that she doesn't know. Caption: "The 40s generation interested in the gossip of artists!" ^_^

As Jong Kook stands firmly, Jae Suk teases him as being unrecognizable, as a character from Season 2 of Sparta. With that statement, the "Sparta!" caption and Sparta Kook is born.

Kwang Soo blocks first. He is tall enough at 190 cm to practically stand upright with his hands wrapped around the top goal bar. Most kicks go wild, but Kawng Soo deflects several. The Home Team scores 3 goals.

Joong Ki blocks next. There's at least half a foot from the bottom of his feet to the ground. HaHa casually kicks the ball straight at Joong Ki and it slides right under is foot. Everyone else follows suit and the Away Team scores 4 goals. The captions detail Joong Ki's humiliation in being short.

For the final round, it's agreed that each team will kick 10 balls and whichever team scores the most goals wins. The Home Team scores 7 goals with Kwang Soo blocking. The Away Team scores 7 goals as well with Chun Hee blocking.

The tie breaker is for each team to kick 5 balls at the goal and the most balls to stay inside the goal wins. Away Team scores 4 goals as Joong Ki blocks. Home Team scores 2 goals as HaHa blocks. Away Team wins and HaHa leaps onto Jae Suk and refuses to let go.

Final Mission:

Team with the most money wins. Losing team faces punishment.

Both teams earned equal amounts of game winnings, so victory is determined by the amount of money in the pigs found during the scavenger hunts.

Punishment:

Serving coffee.

After 17 hours of filming and not allowed to wash up, the Away Team serves coffee to the employees entering the building in the morning. They move through the building on a rolling cart to make sure everyone is greeted.
